TKAMB Chapter 9

Chapter 9 is when the trial is just starting. I can really tell that a lot of people do not like the colored folks, but everyone thinks Tom Robinson is not guilty. It is very intresting that Atticus does not care about his "family name" or what people think of him. He just wants to help win Tom Robinson's case because Atticus knows that Tom would not rape Mayella. I am curious to see if they actually win this case. It would be very hard to be the jury in this case because you want to project white women, but no discriminate colored people either.
