12 angry men so far connects to TKAMB because of the trial. The trials are alike because of the stereotypes in the court room. First off, the main reason why these too are being looked at as guilty because of who they are, in to kill a mocking bird the reason why he was discriminated was because of his race and in 12 angry men it is not directly said but it can be predicted that it is part of his race. I think this is because these 2 were both wrote around the same time period and even if they weren't it makes sense. In the court of law this is something that will happen no matter what jury you find especially back then before the civil rights movement it seemed as if no matter how hard you try to find the perfect unbiased jury it is nearly impossible.
