To Kill a Mockingbird through 21

I thought that even though Tom Robinson was going to be proven guilty throughout these chapters it made a bit disappointed when he was convicted. Atticus fought hard for Tom and seemed to prove what the real problem was which made it more of a disappointment that even with the truth practically told that there is such a discrimintation against African Americans that they cannot see past his skin color and wrongfully accuse him. I also thought it was funny that Dolphus Raymond put on this entire act. He seemed to explain it perfectly saying that people needed a reason to justify why he hung out with Agrican Americans over whites. This I thought was a sad but true fact occurring in that time period.
