Scout's reaction to Boo Radley saving her was surprising. She was saved by him and the fact that she had on the ham costume helped her survive the attack by Bob Ewell. However, Jem broke his arm in the fight and Boo carried him home. This seems to be the man that does not have much to say and he does not seem to want to interact with others, but is a very nice and helpful man. Scout was excited and happy to have Boo at the fight because it saved their lives. He still does not interact with anyone after the fight and goes back to his normal life. Also, Scout feels bad that they cannot give him anything after he put all those things in the tree for them.
