The verdict, delivered by a group of 12 biased white men was an unfair verdict. the men just wanted to see a black man accused for a white-man's crimes. Tom Robinson should have walked free instead of being condemned to death. The fact that the black community isn't hateful against Atticus is proof that the black population isn't just a bunch of hostile, violent peopple.Jem's outrage towards the verdict is relateable. his view of the people around him has changed, and he doesn't like that very much. Scout still doesn't understand what happened; it wasn't fair of Miss Stephanie to bombard the kids with questions like she did.
