Chapter 15 and 16 of TKAM

Chapter 15 and 16 shed some light onto the court case of Tom Robinson. In Chapter 15 when Atticus is confronted by all those men at the County Prison, you get a feeling that they are not there on good terms. Just from story context and dialogue, you could tell that if Atticus was not there to stop them, they would have walked in and killed or severely hurt Tom Robinson. Also later in the Chapter when it first begins, we learn that, even though everyone knows that Tom is going to lose, since the Jury is all farm folk and related to the Cunninghams, who where trying to get to Tom the night before, they still come and watch the trail. It just shows that any form of entertainment was good for these people back in the early 1900s.
