To Kill A Mockingbird Ch. 18, 19, &20

       It is in these scenes the trial begins.  In my mind the evidence so clearly says that Tom is innocent,  how there is even a shadow of doubt as to his innosence, is illogical.  The only reason that Tom could possibly be convicted would be because of the jury.  When Atticus is addressing the jury, he basically says to them indirectly, that if they conict this man they are racist.  He would be incapable of hurting Mayella in the way he did because he was crippled at a young age.  I think, the evidence clearly points to Mayellas father, but because a white man is accusing a black man, the jury will more than likely convict Tom.
