TKAMB Ch. 18-20

In these chapters the trial is going on and Atticus calls the girl to the stand that says she had been raped by Tom Robbinson. Atticus brings out evidence saying that Tom couldn't have done it and that not all black people are criminals. The girl get hysterical and doesn't want to answer anymore questions when Atticus says that her father was the one who beat her. In my opinion Tom Robbinson is not quilty Becuase how would the girl not have any evidence of rape on her body? Also, the girl probably just wanted attention Becuase she was and Ewell and no one liked them Becuase they were dirty. Tom Robbinson was then called to the stand and told his side I the story which was completely different then the girls. Tom said that her dad threaten to kill her when the father saw the girl coming onto him. I believe that the father was the one to beat the girl Becuase Tom Robbinson said he felt bad for the girl and no one ever feels bad for white people specially if they are black. This shows that Tom is not quilty. However, I think the verdict will be quilty just Becuase of how Tom Robinson is black.
