TKAM Chapters 18-20

The case continues throughout these chapters. When Bob Ewell's daughter is being asked questions by Atticus, she becomes hysterical and refuses to answer anymore questions after he asks her if her father is the one who did this to her. This gives us the impression that it is true. Although we feel as if Tom Robinson is not guilty, which he most likely isn't, we also know that there is a slim chance of him being proved innocent due to his skin color.
