To Kill a Mockingbird 15-16

I really enjoyed chapters 15 and 16 because they started to get into the trial which is a large part of the book that we have not heard of yet. In chapter 16 especially, you get the sense of how large this trial is from the description of all of the people and how the court was filled to there were no seats. The bias against Tom Robinson was also scaled because it said that the jury was made up of white farmers, including two possible Cunningham's, who in chapter 15 were apart of or related to the people in the mob that wanted to kill Tom Robinson. There was a lot of childhood innocence in chapter 15 which I thought put suspense in the scene because many of the actions that Scout had could've seriously harmed her, such as when she ran out to Atticus. There was also a little bit humor because she started talking to Mr. Cunningham about his entailment which is a concept that Scout doesn't seem to fully understand what it means, and how she got rid of the tension and the mob left after that. I feel this was because she showed the mob that Atticus has children and that the innocence shouldn't be shown to Scout.
