In these chapters, looking back i realize that these chapters foreshadowed whats to come. This is showing the first real signs of diversity, which is a theme in this book. Not only do we see heavy signs of poverty, but the affects it has on people, such as The Ewell's. The Ewells have deciced to just give up on school, and to only for to the first day so they dont get in legal trouble. This is because of the poverty, because they rather work for there food then go to school and struggle even more
