TKAM: chapter 4

In this chapter, school comes to an end for Jem and Scout and Dill returns back to maycomb. In the beginning scout finds two pieces of gum and tells Jem she chewed them and he is really worried. then afterwards, they all play a game which I don't really understand what it is but Atticus gets mad and asks if it's about the Radleys.. It was very confusing to me what this game was and how it could be about the Radleys?
