TKAM: chapter 6

Jem, Scout, and Dill all go to the Radleys house because they want to spy through a shutter but they see a shadow and a shot gun goes off so they run in fear but Jem's pants get stuck under the fence so he has to take them off and explains to Atticus that they were playing strip poker which Atticus doesn't take as seriously as he should. He asks if they were playing cards, but that's really all. I feel as a parent he should of been much more alarmed..
