To Kill A Mockingbird Ch. 4, 5, &6

      In these chapters of the book we finally start to see some evidence of Boo Radleys existence. It started with Scouts discovery of gum in the tree hole. When she tells Jem, I think  both he and Scout assume it was the doing of Boo, but chooses not to say anything because they are afraid of him.  Another event that led me to believe boo is real, was Scouts experience in the Radley house yard.  Scout was in a tire being pushed by Jem, when she lost control and ended up in the Radley yard. During this mishap she heard a mysterious chuckle from beyond the Radley door. I think that the reason Jem began trying to communicate with Boo in these chapters, is because he was finally convinced that Boo was no urban legend, but a real person. Only time will tell if there assumptions are true or not.
