I found Atticus's thought to be one of the most important moments in the book. First of all I think this because it include the title of the book in it... And it is needed to be thought about. I predict the reason he says this is because he actually likes black people. This is because they work for us all day and don't get payed and they get no credit. Although nobody takes the time to realize what they're doing makes they're life good. I think Atticus is making a connection between human and bird because they both deserve more credit then what they get, and don't deserved to be hated but praised.
