TKAM chapter 1

In the first chapter of "To kill a Mocking Bird", we learned mostly about the history of Atticus' family and the town of Maycomb, and their family. Also how Arthur Radley had gotten arrested, and how Arthur stabbed his father in the leg. In the chapter, it also showed racism because in the prison, they kept the native American people in the basement, and the white people were kept at the top. He would also be found leaving his house at night, and doing some sketchy activities. Also in this chapter, Dill dared Jared to touch to get Arthur to get out of his house.
