TKAM Chapters 10+11

A really important part in this chapter is where the first sign of a Mockingbird comes in, page 90 "Mocking birds don't ... to kill a mockingbird." Also, there was something funny that caught my attention towards the middle of chapter 10. Miss Maudie had told Scout and Jem about their father's greatest achievements including being the best checker player and gun shooter on either side of the river! It's a classic moment where the children really doing look up to their parents, they're told they can't say a word about that. I think that personally it would hit me really hard knowing that my father had done such amazing things, it would make me look up to my father if any more possible. Back to the whole To Kill a Mocking Bird thing, the introduction of that phrase to this chapter really brought my attention to the book and I really felt as if this book is going to be a real crazy but  meaningful story, the way it was said just made that much better.
