TKAM:chapter 7 and 8

In chapter 7 after Jem confides in Scout about finding his stitched and folded up pants near the fence. Jem and Scout find two whittled soap bars, a boy and girl, who bear a startling resemblance to them. They think that the things being left ere could be from Mr. Arthur or another student. I believe these items were things that boo Radley left for the kids because after the things were found mr.nathan filled the hiding place wit cement and lied about his reasoning to Jem.

In chapter 8 Miss Maudie's house burns down mysteriously. Her reaction to it was not that surprising to me beause she was most likely lonely in that Ouse all by herself wither husband gone. She would spend at moment she could outside of her house gardening away...most likely to finally be able to have control of life and death even if its only applying to her plants.
