To Kill A Mocking Bird: Chapters 4 +5

After reading these two chapters it seemed to confirm that Boo Radley is alive, but isn't a ghost or just a legend. When Jem, Dill, and Scout were talking with Miss Maudie on page 44, it surprised me that she explained that Arthur Radley stayed in his house all the time because as part of his religion, he must keep from having pleasure in life. I'm not quite sure if this is true or not mainly because the narrator been unreliable, and Miss Maudie could be either lying or telling them that so they will stay out of trouble. In addition, when Miss Maudie found out they wanted to get him out of his house, she was against it, and when Atticus found out they have been playing a game about being the Radleys, he grew angry and told them to stop. My prediction is that Scout will discover why the town does not like the Radleys, or try to get Boo Radley out of his house.
