I can't believe the adventures that Dill, Scout, and Jem go on. What they do is dangerous, but they are just children so they do not have the concept of fear or much common sense. Poor Jem lost his pants trying to squeeze under the fence.
"He evidently remembered he was engaged to me, for he ran back out and kissed me swiftly in front of Jem." It's so cute that Scout and Dill have crushes on each other.
