To Kill a Mockingbird Chapter 6

Jem, Dill, and Scout's behavior intrigued me. They fully understood the extent of what they were doing and how much trouble they can get in, such as being killed by one of the Radleys. Jem and Dill still follow their plan and Scout goes along with it with some concern understanding this. Also, I thought that this chapter repeated the fact that each action has a consequence, good or bad, and this one was bad because Jem was shot at. This chapter also revealed more about the mindset of people, which intrigued me, because Nathan Radley shot at a person in his collard patch because he thought the person was a Negro, showing the prejudice against African-Americans. There was also an example of unreliable narrator because Scout says "did I understand?". The question makes the sentence to seem that she didn't understand and she  was asking the reader.
