To Kill A MockingBird Chapters 4,5,6

Chapter 4: In this chapter evidence that Boo Radely is alive starts to be revealed. Things such as the two pieces of gum and two pennies being left in the tree. It was like they were put there on purpose for Jem and Scout to find. I believe that Boo put them there, that he actually likes the kids. Also, when Scout lands in the Radley's front yard and hears laughter it makes you wonder about all the rumors that are being spread, because if he was actually a mean guy he would have came out and yelled at them or maybe even done something worse. They also came up with this game which reenacted the rumors of the Radley's. 

Chapter 5: In this chapter Jem and Scout start to distance themselves from each other. Jem actually becomes closer to Dill and Scout seems like she is getting a bit jealous. She also seems annoyed that Dill is acting rudely towards her considering that in the beginning of the summer he asked her to marry him. Throughout this chapter you learn many things about Boo from Miss Maudie. She talks about him like he is an actually human being rather then how the rumors make him seem. Her stories seem to make a bit of sense but not completely. Jem, Dill, and Scout actually came up with a plan to contact him through a note, but Atticus caught them. He explained that Boo Radely is a normal guy just like everyone else its just that he would rather stay inside. They had no right to bother him for know reason, especially when he did nothing wrong to them.

Chapter 6: Jem and Dill finally reach their breaking point of wanting to know what went on inside the Radley's house. They sneak in and almost get caught. Jem lost his pants during the process and went back at night to retrieve them. The weird thing about it was that when he came back he didn't say a word. It was almost like he was scared. I wonder what happened back at the Radley's place to make him act like that. What did he say or who did he see?
