Chapter 4: Atticus catches Dill, Scout, and Jem playing Boo Radley. However, Jem lies to him and says that's not true. It seems to me that Atticus really does know what they're playing, so why doesn't he tell them not to play it and that its wrong?
Chapter 5: I predict Jem and his father will get into a predicament because everytime Atticus says something to Jem and Scout, Jem finds a way around it. For example, when Jem, Scout, and Dill get caught playing Boo Radley, Atticus doesn't exactly say they can't play Boo Radley so Jem says if he ever does they will just change the names and then Atticus can't say anything.
Chapter 6: The neighborhood knows Jem was the one in the Radley yard, so why do they pretend to believe Dill and Jem's story? Why don't they just tell them they know its them?
