To kill a Mockingbird Chapter 1

Chapter 1 in To Kill a Mockingbird, was a basic detail chapter. It told us where and when the story took place. Also, it told us who the characters were. Itsabout a small Alabama town, by the name of Maycomb. They tell the long history about the town and how the narrator and her family got there. My favorite part about the book was towards the end with the Boo Radley house. It gives an eerie feel to the town and the house itself, and the last statement in the chapter about the flick of the shitter, gave just enough to make the reader create predictions in his/her head.
